Catch up

On this rainy Wednesday, I am falling to reminiscing. Perhaps because my 8 month old is wearing an outfit I remember putting on my almost 9 year old. Perhaps because I haven't written much in the last few months and feel the pull of keeping record. Whatever the reason, I'm finally going to write something down.
I won't try to rehash everything that has happened over the last 5 months, because that's a long time and an entire summer of amazing things. I might try to hit some high points. Here goes:
1. Oliver & I celebrated 11 years of marriage. We decided to go to Zion National Park. With our 4 month old baby boy.  And we all three made it to the top of Angels Landing.
2. Oliver climbed a mountain. Mt. Hood, Oregon.

3. Ryan turned 7 (and shortly after was Fathers Day).

 4. We went camping. Fish Lake.

 5. Oliver had a birthday too.

6. We had a family reunion week.

7. Oliver hiked another mountain. On the East coast! Katahdin in Maine & Mt Washington in New Hampshire(it has a restaurant on top-you can drive up for those who don't like hiking).

8. I had a birthday too! We adventured to Golden Spike National Monument & the Spiral Jetty.

9. School started again.
